Career Project 2013
Goal of Assignment: Students will discover what it will take in order to peruse their future career. They will research, analyze, and present their information to an audience. Also they will create a website to share their knowledge with their fellow peers.
Day 1-2:
Drive your Life---You will register for an account then you will answer the career questions. Then choose three of your five choices! Record these in your career journal. If you don't come across all three in the game, do as much as you can! You can go back and research more information later.
Career Test #2 Then take the career test here! You will want to record your scores in your career journal.
You will have to choose from the websites below to find more information on your interested careers. If you have a career in mind that is not listed, let me know! We can find information on other careers too. This helps you to get started.

Day 3 Choosing Your Career Path
You will need to choose your top three choices in your career path and then explain your
final decision. This will be the project you choose to elaborate on.
Answer the questions on page 5 then fill in the line blanks on page 6 of your career journal.
Day 4: Research Begins
You will record what you will do on a daily basis of this job and the Entry/Training of the Job.
Day 5: Research
You will record the Skills/Abilities/Interests you must have to accomplish this job and the Salary/Benefits of this job.
Day 6: Research
You will record the Opportunities possible for advancement in this job and Trends/Future of the job.
Day 7: Research
You will record the Education requirements and Experience/Activities that will help you achieve this career.
Day 8: Research
You will find three additional resources that you would want to share with the class that pertain to your job.
